Disconnect Distribution Hookstick Switches
Vanguard Electric’s PBL2 Hookstick operated switch is used on electrical distribution systems to perform sectionalizing and switching of unloaded circuits (loaded switching possible using a Load Break Tool).
PBL2 is available from 15 kV through 38 kV voltage ratings in 600 A and 900 A current ratings.
- Safe, low effort opening and closing
- Trussed blade allows it to be closed from angles to either side
- ACCC designation rating as per IEEE37.30.1.2011 A01 for 600 Amp and D04 for 900 Amp
- Short time current/Peak 25 kA, 3 sec /65 kA
- Available with porcelain or polymer insulators
- PBL2 are provided with mounting back-strap & hardware as a standard
